Kim DeLashmit

strategy

Kim is Orange Marketing’s founder and the firm's lead marketing strategist, with over 17 years experience working on both B2B and B2C campaigns. She oversees agency operations while working with clients in the hospitality, real estate, industrial, and nonprofit sectors.

Prior to founding Orange in 2009, Kim wrote and edited copy at National Geographic, led the development and implementation of the Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway Management Plan, and directed account services for such clients as Colorado's Regional Transportation District (RTD), Denver Center Theatre Company and Denver Center for the Performing Arts, as well as Colorado State University. In the nonprofit sector, Kim has led fundraising and marketing efforts for such organizations as Colorado Ballet, the Art Students League of Denver, and the Butterfly Pavilion. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a master's degree from the University of Montana.

For fun and karmic goodness, Kim fosters dogs for Front Range German Shepherd Rescue and volunteers for various speaking engagements to help nonprofits and small businesses implement basic marketing strategies. She is also a former Peace Corps volunteer and a 2013 graduate of the esteemed Leadership Denver program.

Her current volunteer engagements include board member of CollegeTrack and Women's Leadership Foundation's marketing committee.  In her spare time, Kim enjoys playing polo on her trusty steed, Java; walks with her German Shepherd, Macaroni; golfing; and exploring our planet.

 
 
 

Amanda Cordsen

design

Amanda has a background in fine art and over 12 years of design and marketing experience ranging from agency work to directing in-house marketing and design departments. Her specialties are logo and brand work, print and front-end web design, and illustration. Prior to joining the Orange team, Amanda served as Art Director for University of Colorado Hospital, leading the effort to retool and modernize the brand and visual libraries while branding the consolidation from single hospital to University of Colorado Health System. At the hospital she also concepted and executed print, web, and décor themes for large-scale fundraising galas featuring performers like Bon Jovi and Dionne Warwick. Through previous experience, she has also worked with RTD, Denver Center for Performing Arts, Centura, Children’s Hospital Colorado, Cornelia Spa, and Denver Home Builder’s Association.

Recognition for Amanda’s creative work includes Logo Lounge Vol. 10, Art Director’s Club of Denver (ADCD) awards for logo and print design, an ADCD Best in Category for poster design, an In-HOWse Design Award, a Gold Leaf Judge’s Choice award, several individual Gold, Silver, and Bronze Leaf Awards, a Gold Create Award, and a Gold Addy for vehicle wrap design and a Silver Addy for illustration.

To stay active in the local creative world and to feed her other passions, Amanda's current and past volunteering volunteer endeavors include the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, Cherry Creek Arts Festival, Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue, and Safe Harbor Lab Rescue. Amanda holds a bachelor's of fine arts in design communication from Texas Tech University.

 
 
 

Lori Cowan

copy writing \ account coordination

Lori brings 15 years of marketing experience to Orange. She brings expertise in marketing and communications, copy writing, tactics, measurement, and public relations. Lori has worked for Jones Intercable, top ranked Denver radio stations, KYGO and 850KOA, and managed marketing for both the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and the Cherry Creek North shopping and dining district. With her guidance, Cherry Creek North implemented a powerful event program that increased foot traffic, retail retention, and sales. In between hanging sponsor banners and serving as emcee, Lori launched and managed the Cherry Creek North website, replacing the original version with an interactive that was source of ideas, inspiration, and information for consumers, retailers, and prospective business owners.

Lori and her husband have three smart kiddos and one dim-witted dog. They have traveled extensively through Europe, China, and New Zealand but have never called anyplace but Denver home. 

 
 
 

Rachel Schimmelman

Web Development

Rachel turns design into reality, building websites on a variety of platforms. A stickler for great UX and web best practices, combined with an eye for design, Rachel is the quintessential developer. Her toolbox includes HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL, Flash, Modx, WordPress, Squarespace, Flash, and much more.

Loren Faye

Brand Positioning and Copywriting

Loren Faye has more than 20 years of experience in all facets of marketing, including public relations, copywriting, event planning, promotions, advertising, web development and corporate partnerships.  She launched the PR/marketing efforts of several start-ups in the for-profit and non-profit sectors, including the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, kickstart.com, The Peak Foundation, JungleQuest and Wystone Teas.


Her appointments include the Denver Metro Convention & Bureau’s Culture and Tourism Committee and the boards of Curious Theatre and CultureHaus (Denver Art Museum). She was alo a graduate of Leadership Denver and of the Colorado Institute of Leadership Institute, Power Pipeline (Leadership America) and Duke University.

 
 
 

Lindsey Mills

Account Strategy / Social Media

Lindsey builds social media communities and brand presence from the ground up. Her expertise includes influencer audits and recruitment, messaging pillars, content calendars, community management, content augmentation, and reporting.

For Lindsey, content creation and sincere relationships are integral to her process of creating authentic, meaningful media coverage across all mediums. She thrives in storytelling, leveraging the synergy of social, digital, and creative. She spends her time managing rapport with audiences, igniting relationships with influencers and media, or writing and creating content to inspire intrigue and brand loyalty.
